Raees (soundtrack)

The soundtrack was released by Zee Music Company. The songs released on the original soundtrack are listed below.

The song "Laila Main Laila" from the 1980 film Qurbani was written by Indeevar, and was originally composed by Kalyanji–Anandji, and it was sung by Kanchan, Amit Kumar, Chorus, has been recreated for the film by composer Ram Sampath. Additional lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar. "Saanson Ke" track is sung by Javed Ali in the film. The song "Halka Halka" was removed from the film and the album because it didn't suit the film's script, but was later released after the film's theatrical release.

Ashwin Vijayan of Deccan Chronicle gave 2 stars out of 5 and stated that, "Shahrukh Khan's 'Raees' is easily the most anticipated film in recent memory, bit unfortunately, it's a is not worthy of the fiesty potboiler that it is.
